From the Collection of Tom Sergott (1946–2020): A Legacy of Art and Influence
We are honored to present a special event at SD Art Advisory: From the Collection of Tom Sergott (1946–2020) — a curated offering of the final works from the personal inventory of one of San Diego’s most respected art collectors and dealers.
Tom Sergott, founder of the Sergott Contemporary Art Alliance (SCAA), was a passionate advocate for contemporary and regional artists. Through his gallery and presence at art fairs across the country, he brought visibility to creative voices and helped shape the local art landscape.
This weeklong presentation, held in collaboration with Tom’s family, features the remaining artworks from his collection. While this is not a formal exhibition, it serves as a meaningful conclusion to a lifelong journey in art — and a final opportunity for collectors and art lovers to explore the artists he championed.
Special Appearance
Tom's daughter will be present at the gallery on Saturday, April 12, to meet guests and share personal stories about her father's legacy, offering a more intimate perspective on his life and work.
