DESCRIPTION: This painting is from my series that I called, The Holographic Universe, a series about the Human Experience. A painting about the past, present, and Future. Cambodia from a recent past descent into darkness, is renewing itself in an uncertain but brighter future. The background is of The Churning of the Ocean of Milk Gallery, located in the temple complex of Angkor Wat. This work was commission by its patron Suryavarman II. It is A fight between Devas and Asuras. A fight between good and evil. In shadow is the greens of the forest, a lady with a rice field hat staring into a skull and a child learning Khon Khon Dances.
