I work as both a sculptor and painter, creating sculptures from stainless steel and aluminum, and creating paintings using pigments mixed with marble dust to produce custom glazes applied to cradled wood panels. My artistic journey began around the age of 16 on our small farm when I stumbled upon a sawed-off chunk of tree branch. Even before I began carving, I could envision the face hidden within it. That’s the day I was born as an artist. Since then, I've had this unending curiosity to search out the deeper truths concealed beneath the surface of things, individuals, and experiences. 

My art is founded on the belief that, beyond our apparent differences, we share profound commonalities. Through both my sculptures and paintings, my aim is to create works that explore and convey those commonalities, allowing viewers to see reflections of themselves regardless of age, gender, or background.
