DESCRIPTION: This is one of my abstract botanical series that combines the thrown splattered, palette knife work with my more controlled classic chiaroscuro work pulling out the botanical form from the abstract thrown and splattered paint. In this series, I am focusing on Trees using the Japanese concept of Shinrin-Yuko or Forest Bathing.
