Title: “Moods and Monsoons” Medium: Charcoal Dimensions: 50x56 $12,000.00
“Moods and Monsoons” was created during a time of uncertainty. The monsoon is a storm that is provoking deconstructed piano keys in a way that was honoring my raw emotional experiences at the time. This piece conveys how music was able to connect me to the deep recesses of my longings and reach my fragmented thoughts, while creating space for me to beautifully sit with my conflicted feelings while knowing, I was still safe. Brokenness has often created an open space…for the new. The storms in my life were clearing away debris and music was there to console my spirit. #artbycontessa
