This painting is from the series that I called, The Holographic Universe, a series about the Human Experience. Here I played with different layers of shadows and realities. As a background, I used the Altar of St. Aloysius in Rome, by Pierre Le Gros. Located in the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola at the Campus Martius. The architecture of the church is in shadow as well as an altar boy lighting a candle. We are all looking for the light.
